Happy February! Spruced Up!

Well it is a new year and a new month!  What have you all been working on?  I made a couple of layouts with Close to my Hearts Spruced Up!  My Grandson and I went sledding in our side yard and I got some really great shots.  It was challenging with a 20 month old.  I don't want to say that I hope we get more snow but it would be fun to get out there one more time.  It has bee such a mild winter.  I think my Husband only used Frosty (snow blower) twice so far.

I have to get the photo's printed yet but here are the layouts I did.

On the first one I used Some of the stickers from the sticker sheet you can get with the paper pack.  The wooden snow flakes you can buy with an assorted pack to go with the paper pack.  I used Julep shimmer trim.  The picture mats are Julep and Sangria.  I also used stickles on the snow flakes to make them shimmer like snow.

On the Second one I used some stickers from the paper pack sheet, a couple of PML cards that match the pack and wooden shapes again.  I put some texture paste on the right side of the right page to make it look like snow and I placed the wood house and trees on them.  I painted the trees with the Julep shimmer brush, the snow flakes with the clear shimmer brush and the house I painted with our water brush and espresso ink.  I added texture paste to those pieces too!  I used French Vanilla under Espresso card stock for the mats on this one.

I hope you enjoyed my layouts and will come back and visit soon.  Visit my website for all of the supplies I used here!  paperdivas.ctmh.com.

Have a great day!

Every Little Thing!

If you love Purple and butterflies then this paper sweet is for you!  It is so beautiful with the Purple, Black and Julep (color of the year)!  I have had so much fun playing with these products and I'm sure that you would too!  Take a look here:  https://paperdivas.closetomyheart.com/retail/search.aspx?searchvalue=Every+Little+Thing.

I would like to share some of the cards I have made with it!  These are Thank you cards that I sent to my customers this month!  I used the PML cards from the set.

This one is a shaker card I made!  I stamped on top of the acetate using Stazon ink.

This one is from the special we had in September called Share the Seasons.  It came with 2 thin cuts and 2 stamp sets.  You can still get them while supplies last with or without the stamp sets here:  https://paperdivas.closetomyheart.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=12787&ci=14378
It is so much fun to play with!
On this one I stamped the butterflies in Wisteria on the lighter side of the wisteria paper!

I just love this one using some Sapphire in the paper pack and an old stamp set!  Also using the Thin cut from Share the Seasons which can also be purchased by itself through the year!  Here is the link:  https://paperdivas.closetomyheart.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=12773&ci=14883.  There is also one with circles.

And then one more using the same thin cut.  You cut away where ever you want to make bigger stamping or embellishing areas!

I really love this one!

That is it for today!  I hope you all have a great week and stay warm!  Happy crafting!

Charlie's card!

Hello!  There is only 5 day's until Christmas and I have been working on this little card for my Grandson's first Christmas.  I like it so much that I have decided to enter it in the Heart 2 Heart challenge "Season's Greetings"!

Although the paper is not from CTMH, a lot of the products are.  The cute little fox is from a retired Christmas stamp set.

I used the Shaker thin cuts- Z4309, the shaker foam and acetate- Z4310, the loose sequins in gold- Z4235.  You can find all of these products here!  https://paperdivas.closetomyheart.com/retail/search.aspx?searchvalue=shaker+kits

I also used our Season of Joy digital Cricut Cartridge for the Baby's first Christmas banner and if you hurry, you can get that here.  https://paperdivas.closetomyheart.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=9406&ci=12020.

I used some gold stickles to dress up the banner.  I also used our craft paper on this card which you can find here.  https://paperdivas.closetomyheart.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=5782&ci=5952

Here is the inside of the card:

The little Santa hat is from a retired mini stamp, Little Saint Nick!  The rocking horse was on top of the banner I used on the front of the card, I just cut it off.  The believe in the magic came from the Holiday sparkle bundle we had but the stamp set is no longer available.

I sure hope Charlie like's his first Christmas card and I hope all of you do too!

Merry Christmas,

Ronda

Grateful Heart!

Burr!  Where did this cold weather come from?  It has been so warm out we had to turn the air on 2 days ago and now today it is so cold!  Well, I do live in Michigan!

So, in the scrap room, I have been playing with the Close to my Heart featured paper pack of the month which is Grateful Heart.  It is such a pretty pack and I absolutely love the complements that come with it.  Here are a couple of picks of it!

Don't you just love these colors?  I have just made a couple of cards so far but can not wait to do some scrapbook pages!  Here is the link to buy the Grateful Heart workshop your way!  You can buy everything separate but you really want these complements.

Here are the two cards I have made!  They are the same card but one is going to be used for a workshop and the Owl came from the complements pack so I only have one.  It will be a Birthday card for my Mom.

The sun flower comes from our Flower Market Cricut Cartridge.  Here is the link for that.

Our Cricut Cartridges are like no others!  700 images and they come with 3 stamp sets to coordinate with the cartridge!

The other products I used on these cards are:

Pomegranate, Fern and Saffron card stock and our gold pearls.  Love those pearls.
I also used the October stamp of the month on the second card and the bunches of love stamp set on the first card.

I am going to enter the Owl card in this weeks Heart to Heart Challenge- http://heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com/2018/10/holiday-expressions-2.html

I hope you have enjoyed this post and will come back soon to see what I am up too!

Hugs,  Ronda

No worries!

Hello!  I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July and are enjoying your summer!!  I know I am.  We have been going to a lot of car shows and we went to Kansas to visit our Grandkids and family!  My garden is doing really good.  I will take some pictures today and post them later on in the week.

Today I want to share some pictures of the cards and scrapbook pages I have done with the CTMH No Worries paper pack.

The scrapbook pages are from our trip we made to South Haven MI.  I am going to enter one of these in the Heart 2 Heart Challenge blog!  http://heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com/2017/07/july-2017-challenge-1-no-worries.html.  I hope you enjoy these.

Aren't these little foxes so cute???  They are from the June stamp of the month set.  I hope you enjoyed looking and my page and please follow me.

Garden news!

Well we are half way through the year.  I am so happy it has cooled down a little bit, but I sure wish we would have gotten some of the rain that other parts of Michigan got over the weekend.

I hope everyone enjoyed Fathers Day with there families, I know I did!

Despite the Hot dry weather we have had, my garden is doing quite well!  Here is a couple of pictures!

The new raised bed is doing really good.  Check out this broccoli I grew!  It is the first time I ever grew broccoli and it was delicious!

Well that's all for today!  Come back tomorrow for a look at some scrapbook pages I have been working on of my recent trip to South Haven.  I'm mixing up a current paper pack called No worries with a retired pack called sea side.  Here is a picture of the No Worries!  Don't forget to checkout my website at paperdivas.ctmh.com.

I almost forgot to tell you about the cardstock sale!  The sale runs through June!

Have a great week!

Memorial weekend

Happy Wednesday!  It has been a while since I have posted so I thought I would share what has been going on.  I have my veggie garden all planted.  Half of it is a raised bed.  I haven't taken a picture of it with the plants in it.  But this is what it looks like prepped and ready to plant.

Next year there will be another cinder block raised bed on the other side.  Thanks to my mom and my compost bin, this bed has tons of wonderfully screened compost in it.  I bought 9 bags of organic garden soil to help fill it up.  At the end of the garden is my strawberry bed.  Hopefully it will quit raining soon so the strawberries will ripen and the veggie plants won't die!

The plants are loaded with blooms and berries right now.  So come on warm sunshine.  Normally I would spend this weekend planting my gardens but now all I have to do is plant a few flowers and do a little clean up in some of the beds.

Tomorrow I am having 5 or 6 girls over for a scrapbooking/ card making crop/ workshop.  Here are a couple of the layouts they will be doing with the Live Beautifully paper pack for National scrapbooking month.

Please visit my website for more information of this paper pack at paperdivas.ctmh.com.  There is also a beautiful stamp set which is picture in the next photo.

And while you are shopping don't forget to pick up the awesome stamp set of the month for only $5 with a $50 purchase.

I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  don't forget to say a prayer for a fallen soldier!

Hugs, Ronda
